Earlier this week I wrote a post of my three favorite go-to smoothies. Well today I ran into a bit of a problem. I had all the ingredients except for bananas. I LOVE having a banana in my smoothies so today I had to improvise.

Today's breakfast:
Blueberry-Strawberry Kale Smoothie


    1/2 cup of organic skim milk
    6 whole frozen strawberries
    1/4 cup of frozen blueberries (My mom buys the Dole brand bulk size from Sam’s Club)
    1 leaf of Organic Kale (I bought mines at Whole Foods)
    1/4 cup of 0% fat-free Plain Greek Yogurt (I used Greek Gods from Whole Foods)
    1-2tbsp of Agave Nectar (can be substituted for honey)
    1 teaspoon of Chia Seeds (dark kind)

I hope you guys try this one too. I keep trying to come up with different ones. I am a very picky eater so I will only post recipes of smoothies that I actually like. I think my next one will involve coconut milk or maybe coconut water.
